Where craft meets intention.
Bi-Nka Bi Belt
Rooted in symbol and story, the Bi Nka Bi Belt is crafted to be worn with purpose.
Made from 9–10 oz full-grain English bridle leather, each belt is hand edge-painted and finished with a custom buckle designed in-house. The buckle features Bi Nka Bi, an Akan Adinkra symbol from Ghana associated with peace, unity, justice, and conflict resolution, reminding us to carry strength with grace.
Available in two variations:
Black English bridle leather with a silver-toned, nickel-plated buckle
Brown English bridle leather with an antique-brass buckle
Designed and made in Los Angeles, the buckle is produced locally using the lost-wax casting process.
The Sarki Edition
The Sarki Edition offers a more detailed evolution of the Bi Nka Bi Belt.
Fully hand-stitched and available in brown or red, it is embellished with triangles and rhombus forms inspired by African textile and decorative traditions. Crescent and full-moon motifs, created with roundhead spots and a concho, reference cycles of renewal and reflection.
Because each Sarki Edition is individually made, placement and detailing may vary slightly.
Special requests may be considered. Each belt is made with intention and tailored to the wearer.
